The Weaver's Web

Just an old liberal baby boomer keeping a watchful eye on the younger generation.

Where-in I ramble somewhat aimlessly about most anything that catches my interest or engenders my disgust. Politics, religion, widowhood, mental depression and living poor are fairly common themes here.

Just ignore it and it never really happened

My Facebook “family” never disappoints.

I check up on them each day. Usually in those few, not quite awake yet moments while drinking my morning coffee. That is about the only time I can handle the deluge of Obama hate and repetition of Republican lies that flood my news feed without going ballistic on someone.

This morning the anti-Muslim outrage crowd was running neck and neck with the weak, apologist leader Obama bunch. I noticed few Romney praisers along the way.

What I didn’t see was a single post from the conservatives in the throngs relating to the criticism Romney has received from fellow Republicans about his most recent foot in mouth moment(s).

Not a whisper. Not a hint.

And may I add—not a surprise.

Conservatives have an uncanny knack for ignoring that which makes them or their candidates look foolish. As though if you don’t acknowledge the buffoonery the buffoonery never happened.
